Client needs

Identification of titanium and stainless steel medical prostheses

  • Install 2 laser marking stations at the outlet of 4 machining stations
  • Mark the prosthesis reference and its logo in line with the production order management database

Constraints:

  1. Cycle time less than 1 min.
  2. 600 prosthesis references concerning different materials and shapes
  3. Adaptation of the marking parameters based on the material with no intervention from the operator on the marking file (operator mode)
  4. Contrasted, non-destructive marking: Marking controlled and validated by a laboratory

Solution proposed

Marking: 2 Technifor laser marking stations with a programmable Z axis using the parameters in the marking files
Software: Technifor in connection with the client database for the automatic management of the marking file parameters
Personalised operator interface: The marking file template is completed automatically using information associated with each product reference contained in the client database
